One of the things that stood out in the Face2Face with Innovators to me was the level of the energy of the audience, and that the people were really with us every moment

not only during the actual presentation but before and after. So, I would conclude that there is a thirst for this kind of information here among the entrepreneurial community in Malaysia.

Of course, there are lots of other resources available, books, online resources, Ted Talks & so on. But the thing that is unique here is the ability for Malaysian entrepreneurs to learn from Malaysian entrepreneurs. There is so much in the community around the Global Entrepreneur Xchange that you can get practical knowledge from your peers as well as from international experts that come to visit.

I think it's really important for entrepreneurial companies, which really come in all sizes, to keep the rate of learning very high. The thing that I think is exciting about the Global Entrepreneur Xchange is the ability to help entrepreneurial companies here in Malaysia learn at an accelerated pace, because that's how they're going to keep up with and keep ahead of the competition.

Successful entrepreneurs are not about being successful.

It’s about going through the journey where you will see a lot of challenges and even failures, but still having the ability to manage those failures which will tell you that you are a successful entrepreneur.

When you are an entrepreneur, you are indeed lonely. You might cry at night or even during the day but remember there will always be someone who will help you, and GEX can help perhaps. As Karthik said, 20% of start-ups do fail and Karthik knows the reason why they fail. I’m glad that GEX created a platform to increase the success rate of entrepreneurship development.

I believe we have met the objective, and hopefully we can have more programmes and conferences facilitated by GEX.
